Africa Tech Summit is the leading tech event in Nairobi and London connecting African tech corporates, investors, and startups in Africa.
I first started working with Andrew in 2014 on AppsAfrica, the mother company for Africa Tech Summit.
Everybody who has experience working on events knows about the time crunch and the stress one endures, Africa Tech Summit is no different, but we’ve all chipped in and have delivered seamlessly successful events.
Including exhibition floor maps, mock-ups of different assets, icons and any other asset that might be needed.
Versioning control also falls on me, which can sometimes be tricky when the PDFs are edited straight in Acrobat.
For the few years, all the social media assets were solely produced by me, it meant more than 50 different speaker and sponsor cards for 3 different platforms and all other social media banners, Instagram reveals, google campaigns, GIFs, you name it.
More recently, all the speaker cards and sponsor cards have been set up in an easy-to-use template and all those banners are now being produced by the social media manager.
Venue branding and graphics are an essential part of any event and Africa Tech Summit is no different. I design and artwork all the venue graphics printed and digital.
